Learn how to save a life with a free CPR class

This event has ended

Each year, around 54,000 Australians suffer a heart attack – the equivalent of one every 10 minutes.

Knowing how to identify a heart attack and perform basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) could double the chances of survival.

As part of each MED Festival around the world we work with local organisations to provide free CPR training.

Join our one-hour classes run by accredited trainers to learn how to –

  • Recognise the signs and symptoms of a heart attack
  • Deliver basic CPR
  • Appropriately use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)

Give one hour of your day. Learn how to save a life.

  • PLEASE NOTE: Registration closes at midnight on Wednesday 7th November
  • These classes are expected to be very popular. We will try to do our best to accommodate everyone but places will be allocated on a first come basis and may be at other sites across Sydney.
  • We will confirm if you have a place by Tuesday 13th November
  • Each CPR training session lasts approximately 60 minutes
  • You must be over 12 years of age or older to participate
  • CPR teaching requires some physical exertion – please inform a trainer in advance if you have any health concerns
